Telemarketing fulfils that need because it’s based on the use of conversation. It is so much more flexible than the written word and can yield immediate feedback to the point of an arranged meeting.

Telemarketing is not tele-sales – it doesn’t sell anything.

It’s our job to find companies that are looking for your services and book sales appointments.

We trawl through targeted databases, find the right person, and ask if and when they might be in the market. If they are looking now, we can arrange a meeting for you.

If, however, they are wanting a meeting within the next 6 months, we will arrange a telephone call at the appropriate time and book the appointment then.

Obviously, we need to know what you do so that we can have an outline chat with the prospect. However, we can’t possibly know as much as you do but we know enough to interest your prospect and book the appointment.

I would like to make this important point. The BHT Marketing Ltd team never book an appointment unless the prospect is looking. This means that when you go to one of our appointments, the prospect is definitely a buyer and, so long as you can match your service to their need/budget you will get the sale. Conversion rates from our meetings are high as a result.

Our approach to telemarketing is this:

  • we do the laborious work of trawling through the database so that you don’t have to
  • we call every company to find out if, and when they might be in the market.
  • we work on the principle that if they are in the market, they will tell you.
  • we don’t need to convince anybody, so we are never pushy
  • we suggest sending more information or a arranging a meeting – they have the choice
  • we follow up the information and see if they would like a meeting

Campaigns need to be constant to build and maintain the impetus, but they don’t have to be heavy spends. We recommend a minimum of 2.5 hours per week following an initial 2 month push of 5 hours per week.
